Fine Cooking has a beautiful, free collection of cookie recipes available on their web site for the holiday season. I appreciate that the editors took the time to separate their recipes by category, much like a cookbook. The section on recipes to make with kids is an especially nice touch.
A few intriguing recipes:
Oatmeal-Chocolate Chip Waffle Cookies: Literal waffles. Tiny cookie bites baked in a waffle iron. How nifty is that?
Potato Chip Cookies: Potato chips in cookies. Do I really need to say more?
Orange-Hazlenut Olive Oil Cookies: Extra-virgin olive oil might make these a rather savory cookie, and that fat plus the fat from the nuts would make this a pretty healthy cookie, too
